The Last Best Ride Gravel Race

The Last Best Ride returns for 2026! Taking place across the northern Flathead Valley and southern Whitefish Range, this race is the biggest celebration of gravel and mixed-surface riding in Northwest Montana.

Come take a Scenic Lift Ride to the summit of Big Mountain, grab a beverage and a snack at the Summit House, and cheer on the racers as they crest the summit and drop back down into the Hellroaring Basin. With plenty of happenings in town on race day and in the days leading up to it, there's plenty of fun for everyone.
