Wednesday Summit Dinner Series
Looking for a memorable meal this summer? Don't miss our Wednesday Summit Dinner Series featuring unique menus on July 10, 17, 24 & August 7!
Enjoy a Scenic Lift Ride up the mountain followed by a four-course meal at the Summit House, where you can dine while taking in views of the Flathead Valley and Glacier National Park. Individually plated courses will include an appetizer, a salad, your choice of entrée and dessert — perfect for date night, special occasion or a fun outing with friends.
32nd Annual Flathead Industries Climb Big Mountain
June 22nd, 2024 – 8am
Come Join Whitefish Mountain Resort and Flathead Industries for the 35th annual Climb Big Mountain fundraiser! This is a family friendly event that prioritizes fun and community over competition.
The hike will begin at 8am at the bottom of the Danny-On trail with trivia as you ascend the mountain. There will be prizes, food and drinks, live music, and face painting.
All event waivers will be signed in-person on the day of.

Northwest Cup
June 28th-30th, 2024
The Northwest Cup, one of the largest downhill MTB race series in the USA, returns for summer 2024 with another awesome weekend of racing!
Race registration must be completed online at https://nwcup.com/.
RACE REGISTRATION DOES NOT OCCUR THROUGH WMR. Whitefish Mountain Resort is only the venue, we are not the organizer of this race. Tickets acquired through Eventbrite are unnecessary for spectating. This page is only built for race information.

Lodging information will be released as more details become available.
Camping
Registered participants can purchase camping for $120 for all 5 nights of camping June 26th – June 30. Check-in opens at 10am June 26 and check-out is at 10am July 1. (Wednesday Night - Monday Morning). Camping must be purchased by midnight Wednesday, June 26 to receive this price. After that time, you will need to visit the Lodging front desk to see if there is availability and pay the daily price. To purchase please refer to the information provided by the NW Cup at the time of your registration.
Tickets
Registered participants can purchase a $99 3Day Bike Park Ticket that is good Friday June 20- Sunday June 30th. Tickets must be purchased by midnight Wednesday, June 26 to receive this price. After that time, daily tickets must be purchased at window rate of $57 per day. To purchase please refer to the information provided by the NW Cup at the time of your registration.
Lift Hours
Normal Lift Operations are 10am to 5:30pm. Updated information will be made available closer to race weekend.
Parking
Parking is available in all open parking lots. Please do not park any RV anywhere other than the Fir Camping Lot.
Closure
There will be closures and designated timeframes. Anyone caught not honoring this closure will be disqualified.
Pit Row Access
Vehicle access to pit row closes at 10am. Anyone setting up on Pit Row must have prior approval from the NW CUP organizers AND have signed a resort waiver.
Food
Hellroaring Saloon will be open Saturday and Sunday. The only food options available at the resort are simple snacks at the General Store and Lunch Menus at the Base Lodge and Summit House.
Services
In addition to limited food options, there is not a ton of bike supplies at our bike shop, or a wide selection at the general store. Please plan accordingly. Recommended bike shops in Whitefish include Great Northern Cycle & Ski (Central Ave) and Glacier Cyclery (2nd Ave).
Spectators
The best race course viewing is available near the finish line or in the woods just above the finish. There are no spectator lift tickets available.
42nd Annual Danny On Memorial Big Mountain Run

Join Whitefish Mountain Resort and the Glacier Nordic Club in the running of the 42nd annual Danny On Memorial Big Mountain Run.

Getting down the mountain
Registrants will receive a free pass to ride the lift down. (Reminder – no dogs on the lift.)
Event Description
Run or hike 3.8 miles with 2,200 ft. elevation gain to the summit of Big Mountain
Compete for the title of King and Queen and Prince and Princess (16 &under) of the Mountain, Top Dog (fastest leashed dog), Oldest and Youngest runner, and the Birthday Club!
Registrants will receive awards, awesome raffle opportunities, and snacks at the top!
Cost
Early registration for ages 17 to Adult is $35 per individual, and day of race registration is $40.
$15 for Juniors (16 and under), and $20 day of race registration.
Online registration closes at 8pm the day before the race. You may register the day of from 8:00am to 9:10am by the start of the Danny On Trail for an additional $5 per person.
The Last Best Ride
Sunday, July 28th, 2024
The Last Best Ride, one of the Glacier region’s preeminent gravel rides, will be rolling through Whitefish Mountain Resort on Sunday, July 28th!
A part of both the short “Mountain Goat” and long “Big Horn Sheep” courses, we can’t wait to see you across our slopes!

Enduro Pescado – MT Enduro Series
August 10th
Join Whitefish Mountain Resort and the Montana Enduro Series for the always-awesome Enduro Pescado on August 10th! This is the second race in the Montana Enduro Series.
This race will be run in the typical Enduro format, with multiple climbing and descending stages across the resort. It should be some fantastic racing across some of our favorite trails!

The Whitefish Trail Blazer
October 5th
Join the Whitefish Legacy Partners and Whitefish Mountain Resort for an awesome annual celebration of community racing and our amazing open lands.
The weekend will begin with the classic 50k race on Saturday, October 5th, which will cover large sections of The Whitefish Trail before runners make their way up to the Summit of Big Mountain. This year’s 50k course will involve some new tweaks and changes… Stay tuned for more information!
