Scenic Lift Rides
A must-do summer activity!
Choose an enclosed gondola or an open chairlift, then sit back and enjoy the ride while you experience breathtaking views of Whitefish Lake, the Flathead Valley, Glacier National Park and the Northern Rockies.
Once at the summit of Big Mountain, you can enjoy more panoramic views and pop in to the Summit House to eat lunch, order drinks at the bar and shop for souvenirs. You can also visit the U.S. Forest Service's Summit Nature Center to learn about native wildlife!
SAVE 10% WHEN YOU BUY ONLINE! Simply buy your tickets online at least 48 hours in advance to score this discount. Purchases within 48 hours of your activity must be completed in person or over the phone at 406-862-2900.
Passholder Perk: If you purchased a 2023/24 ski season pass, you're entitled to unlimited Scenic Lift Rides in summer 2024 at no additional cost! Simply have a lift attendant scan your ski season pass. This perk does not include Bike Park access and you will not be permitted to board the lift with a bike.

Guidelines & Restrictions
Pets are not allowed on Scenic Lift Rides, including gondolas.
Scenic Lift Rides open at 10 a.m. on summer operating days. The last ride up or down the mountain is at 5:30 p.m.
Dining service at the Summit House ends at 3 p.m.
One-way tickets up or down the mountain are for guests who hike in the other direction.
