Kids Custom Programs

*** Programs for the 2026/27 ski season will go on sale Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026. Please stay tuned for details. ***

Whitefish Mountain Resort provides eight-week skiing and snowboarding programs for kids in several age groups! For those who want a more personalized experience, we also offer custom versions of each program that let you select your own time and day of the week, as well as all the members of your lesson group!

Available on a limited basis, custom programs are a great option for kids who want to focus on particular skills with a group of peers they already know and the same instructor each week. All members of the group should have similar skiing or snowboarding ability. To be eligible, your child must meet the program's age minimum requirement by Dec. 1, 2026. We may require proof of age.

Call our Ski & Ride School at 406-862-2909 to inquire and book.

Why is attendance important?

Attendance is crucial to your child's success in any skiing or snowboarding program, especially during the first two weeks when instructors evaluate their skills for group placement. Please help us provide the best possible instruction by ensuring your child is on time for all lessons.

What is the cancellation policy?

Program fees may be refunded in full through Nov. 15, 2026. After that date, no refunds will be issued except in the event of injury. No refunds will be issued and no make-up lessons will be offered for missed attendance. Exceptions may be made for extenuating circumstances, such as illness, injury or extreme weather.

What happens during extreme weather?

Lessons may be canceled or postponed when our mountain operations team deems weather conditions unsafe. Extreme wind or cold temperatures may force us to close chairlifts or terrain. We also encourage each family to consider what is best for their child's comfort and well-being.

What about lunch?

What is Your Responsibility Code?
