The 10$ Downhill is a one-run downhill race held on the first four Thursday evenings in July.
Online Registration is mandatory for this event and you must load the lift by 5:30 p.m.

There are 4 races this year, each on Thursday Evening. Each race consists of one run down the race track. Courses will be marked and closed to the public during racing. Access the courses via the chair lift.

Week 1 (July 8)= ZZ Top
Week 2 (July 15)- Cyndi's Loppers
Week 3 (July 22)- Lower Freebird to Careless Whisper
Week 4 (August 5)- Upper Runaway Train (to Chair 5)
ENTRY FEES AND LIFT TICKETS
Entry Fee - $10
Discounted lift tickets available at the ticket office at the base of Chair 1 before 5 p.m. You must show your confirmation email to ticket staff to get the discount.
SCHEDULE
5:30 pm - Last lift load / online registration closes on race day at 4:00 p.m.
5:55 pm - Competitors' meeting at race start.
6:00 pm - Race start!
CATEGORIES
CAT 1- Fastest riders out there (Pro, CAT 1, Expert)
CAT 2- Can't hang with the fastest, but still pretty quick (CAT 2, Sport)
CAT 3- New to downhill racing (CAT 3, Beginner)
*all categories run the same track, it is more of who you are competing against.

FAQs:
What time should I arrive?
You need to be registered by 4pm online. You must be on the Chair by 5:30.. That includes parking, walking up to the check in window, etc. You must be at the Race Start (for that week) before 6pm.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
8 years old minimum, and you should be pretty confident in your riding skills.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We recommend parking in the upper village.
What can I bring into the event?
Bike, High Fives, etc. Spectators must view race from village area or hike to the race track due to the late start of this race.
What about bathrooms?
There are bathrooms at the Bierstube, Hellroaring, Village Restrooms located below Ed and Mully’s at the top of the Boardwalk as well as the restrooms near the bottom of Chair 2.
Refunds?
You can refund your ticket here on eventbrite up to 24 hours before the event, for any reason - no drama.
