Ten Dollar Downhill

The Ten Dollar Downhill takes place every Thursday night from August 6 – August 27
PRE-REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY FOR THIS EVENT & YOU MUST LOAD THE LIFT BY 5:30pm. The race begins at 6pm.
RACE OVERVIEW
Ten dollars. A different course each week. Good times and friendly competition. Each race consists of one run down the race track and courses will be marked and closed to the public during racing.
We do have some new pandemic precautions in place now- The State of Montana has extended group gatherings to 50 people, so we are limiting each race to 40 racers. Therefore we are also asking that you please limit bringing friends and family members to the race with you in an effort to not go over the maximum number of people allowed by the Flathead County Health Dept.
Please bring a face covering with you just in case and practice social distancing.
Online Registration is mandatory for this event and you must load the lift by 5:30pm (Last Chair).
There are 4 races this year, each on Thursday evening. Each race consists of one run down the race track. Courses will be marked and closed to the public during racing. Access the courses via Lift (discounted lift tickets available for $30 ).
COURSES
Week 1 (August 6th)= Lower Freebird (Enchanted Forest to Careless Whisper).
Week 2 (August 13th)- Cyndi's Loppers
Week 3 (August 20th)- Kashmir (Top Of Chair 2 to Upper Pipe Crossing)
Week 4 (August 27th)- Upper Runaway Train (to Chair 5)
ENTRY FEES AND LIFT TICKETS
Entry Fee - $10 / $35 for all 4 races. Discounted lift tickets ($30) are available for the day of the event.
SCHEDULE
5:30 pm - Last lift Load / Online Registration closes on race day at 4:00pm.
5:55 pm - Competitors' Meeting at Race Start.
6:00 pm - Race Start!
CATEGORIES
CAT 1- Fastest riders out there (Pro, CAT 1, Expert)
CAT 2- Can't hang with the fastest, but still pretty quick (CAT 2, Sport)
CAT 3- New to downhill racing (CAT 3, Beginner)
*all categories run the same track, it is more of who you are competing against.
