Up to 60 skiers and snowboarders will hit rails and boxes on a custom built rail jam venue. It is super fun to watch and even more fun to compete in. Compete for a $1000 Cash purse in Open Class Skier & Snowboarder Categories! Great prizes for amateur category winners and a raffle for everyone else! Cap off the night with a spectacular torchlight parade, fireworks show, and live music by Brent Jameson and the Sordid Seeds.

5:15 - 5:30 pm: Skier Jam (Registration info, click here)
5:30 - 5:45 pm: Dash for Cash - Open to anyone looking to make a buck! We hold both a kids' dash and an adults' dash. Run a wacky obstacle course for your chance to win $100!
5:45 - 6 pm: Snowboard Jam (Registration info, click here)
6 - 6:15 pm: Dash for Cash
6:15 - 6:30 pm: Finals - top skiers and snowboarders from each division compete
6:30 - 6:45 pm: Torchlight Parade and Fireworks
6:45 - 7 pm: Awards
6:45 - 10 pm: Brent Jameson and the Sordid Seeds at Ed & Mully's
9:30 - midnight: Live music at the Bierstube (don't forget to pre-purchase your tickets to the Bierstube... it will sell out! 862-1993)

On-Snow Bar: Hosted by Ed & Mully's. Sip your cocoa, mulled wine or cold beer and never have to leave the Rail Jam and parade venue.

All New Year's Eve events take place on Ed's Run or inside Ed & Mully's.

Torchlight Parade Registration: Register at the bottom of Chair 2 by 5:45 pm. You must be an intermediate or expert skier or snowboarder to participate and have low-visibility goggles.

About Brent Jameson and the Sordid Seeds:

Jameson and the Sordid Seeds is a bumpin’ original reggae rock and blues rock band based out of Northwest Montana. The band formed in late 2009 and has gained national recognition quickly becoming one of Relix magazine’s 2010 artists on the rise. In 2011 the Sordid Seeds spent a majority of the year playing shows throughout the nation in support of their debut album Two Shoes in Mary’s Basement developing a strong reputation for putting on an amazing show and not holding anything back on stage.

Often described as a cross between the Black Keys and Sublime with a hint of Dave Matthews, Jameson and the Sordid Seeds blends heavy blues guitar with reggae-rock beats and strong hooks that you’ll be singing when you wake up the morning after. The title of the band’s single “I Got Soul” fits perfectly as you can hear the passion in the vocals of frontman Brent Jameson throughout the album. The band left a great buzz across the country from their 2011 tour and have just released their sophomore album titled “I Walk Down Your Street”. The band plans on playing throughout the nation in support of this album so be on the lookout for dates. They have a great live energy making for a great show you won’t want to miss.
