Trail Report

Reported on Jul 29th, 2015 at 05:05PM by Kate*

Patrol: 406.862.2940

*** This trail report will be updated throughout the summer as conditions warrant. ***

HALFWAY THROUGH THE SUMMER!

Can't believe it's almost August! We have had some cooler temps this week and the huckleberries are going off! Big shout out to the patrol and trail crew for the work on Freebird. Your patience is going to pay off. Freebird will be open 100% on Thursday! Roll through once to get the new lay of the land as things have greatly changed below CH 5. Things will be a little dusty and loose til we get some rain, but the new step downs are super fun!

Huckleberries are in full swing. They're everywhere! Along the Danny On, you'll find them to be spread out more with bushes that have been picked over. If you're looking for a huckleberry harvest, you'll have to venture farther off the beaten path. Please do not hike on bike only trails.

FREEBIRD - totally reworked between the bottom of CH 5 and Larch.

OVERFLOW - new set up jump for the Table Line

TNRL Continues! Week 4 is upon us. Join us for an awesome evening of biking, Otter Pops, and great prizes. Did we mention that it is super fun?

Keep up with what is going on in the bike park here and on Instagram ( #bikewhitefish )

-----Please note though trails may be accessible, please ride with extreme caution due to early seaon conditions, trail projects, possible blowdown, vehicles or other hazards.-----

We are also conducting a survey about our bike park. If you have ridden it, please let us know what you think by clicking HERE.

KASHMIR was chosen by IMBA as one of the TOP 4 MODEL FLOW TRAILS in THE WORLD for 2014!!! Read the official Press Release and check out IMBA's list HERE.

The Whitefish Mountain Resort Bike Park was voted the Best in the Mountain West, and 3rd Best Bike Park in the NW in 2013!!
