What is the Zip Line Tour?
Whitefish Mountain Resort offers a lift-served, six-line Zip Line Tour featuring a maximum flight height of up to 300 feet above the forest. The tour includes a 1,900-foot span and provides views of the Flathead Valley.
How long is the Zip Line Tour?
The guided adventure lasts approximately two hours and includes light hiking between the platforms.
How many zip lines are included in the tour?
The tour consists of six zip lines, including one span that is 1,900 feet long.
Can I ride with others?
Yes, the tour allows participants to ride side-by-side with friends.
Adventure Upgrade: The Zip Line Tour Activity Package adds a round-trip Scenic Lift Ride and three Alpine Slide rides — valid for two days of mountain fun.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or rebook for a different time or day, you must do so at least 24 hours in advance of your reserved time slot by calling Base Lodge Tickets & Information at 406-862-2900 and speaking to a customer representative.
What are the age and weight limits?
Riders must weigh between 60–230 pounds. Children under 14 require an accompanying adult.
What is the required footwear?
Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes are mandatory for safety on the zip line course.
When should I check in?
Arrive at the Base Lodge (second floor) at least 30 minutes before your scheduled tour.
What is the weather policy?
Tours operate rain or shine — except during lightning — so dress appropriate for current weather conditions.
How are participants secured?
Participants are secured in a comfortable paragliding-style harness for each ride.
How should I secure my belongings?
Long hair and loose items must be tied back; leashes are recommended for sunglasses, hats, cameras, and personal gear.
What are the on-tour rules?
No smoking, eating, or drinking during the Zip Line Tour.
Who may not participate?
You may not participate if you have had back, neck, or heart problems; have medical conditions, physical limitations, limb injuries, or broken bones; experience dizziness, vertigo, or motion sickness; are pregnant or suspect you may be pregnant; have high blood pressure or related cardiovascular concerns; are under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or prescription medication that may impair judgment or coordination; or have been medically advised to avoid strenuous or physically demanding activities.
All participants must disclose heart conditions; artificial joints; recent or recurrent back, neck or shoulder injuries; mental or physical conditions; or any other disorder that could compromise their safety or the safety of others on the course. If there is any doubt, a medical professional should be consulted prior to participation.
