Season Pass Credit

Our policy has changed! Beginning in the 2024/25 Season, Whitefish Mountain Resort will only offer pass refunds in the form of stored credit for future use at the resort. Funds will not be returned to guests. We will make reasonable considerations when reviewing stored credit requests for the reasons listed below. No other reasons will be considered.

  • Injury, illness, or develops a medical condition precluding the use of their pass for the remainder of the season.1
  • Called to active military service.2
  • Required to move from their residence to a location outside of a 150-mile radius from Whitefish for work.3
Policy Details

Non-use of pass for reasons other than those stated above will not be considered. Financial hardship is not a reason.

Season Passes with fewer than 8 uses may be considered for credit. Requests with more than 8 uses on the pass will be automatically denied

No credit will occur when a pass is revoked for misconduct.

Documentation must be provided at the time of request for consideration. Requests made without documentation will be automatically
denied and a new submission will be required.

Credit requests can take up to 4 weeks to be reviewed and processed. Once processed, credits are FINAL. If your situation changes, you would need to repurchase a pass at the current rate. No early season pricing will be extended.

All credit requests must be submitted online using the form below.

Credits are calculated based on the price paid for the pass, the daily ticket rate for any days used, and the date the claim was filed with
documentation.

Example (using 23/24 rates): WMR Passholder skis 3 days in December, 2 days in January and then tears their ACL. 5 days of skiing at $97 a
day = $485 value in day tickets. The pass was purchased for $739, minus the $485 for days used = $254. The claim was submitted before the
January claim deadline so the credit would be 75% of $254 or $190.50.

FREQUENT SKIER DIRECT-TO-LIFT CARDS

Consideration for credit will only be given for cardholders who were unable to activate their cards. The terms and conditions of credit
are as listed above.

1All claims based on medical reasons must be accompanied by a letter or note from their attending physician for consideration.

2All claims based on deployment must be accompanied by proof of deployment with a valid date precluding the use of their pass.

3All claims based on relocation must be accompanied by a letter or note from their employer. If a pass is purchased while already residing more than 150 miles from Whitefish, Montana (based on the address supplied at time of purchase), it will not qualify for credit consideration.
