Not sure what to get your loved ones this holiday season? Don't panic. We've got you covered with all kinds of gifts for the skiers and snowboarders in your life.
Shopping at Whitefish Mountain Resort is a great way to find gear and accessories for beginners and serious shredders alike, whether you want to go all out or find stocking stuffers that won't break the bank.
Our main retail locations are Snow Ghost Outfitters in the village area and Base Lodge Traders on the second floor of the Base Lodge. There also are great items for sale at Village Rentals and the Summit Shop!
Grab a hot cocoa from the Base Lodge or Ed & Mully's to warm up while you browse, then hit the slopes! Who said holiday shopping has to be a chore?
Here are a few gift ideas to inspire and help you cross a few names off your shopping list.
Clothing & Gear
If you want to go big for the most special people in your life, check out our selection of skis, boots and outerwear! We carry top brands and high-performance gear so anyone can feel comfortable and confident on the slopes.
Goggles and gloves (or mitts) are other obvious must-haves, and nothing says "I love you" like a new helmet to protect your friend or relative's noggin.
Accessories & Stocking Stuffers
Folks need to keep their heads warm on the way to the slopes and cover up helmet hair during après activities, so a stylish and functional beanie is always a great choice of stocking stuffer. Buffs, balaclavas and other face coverings are great options, too.
We also carry all kinds of merch, T-shirts and hoodies rocking the Whitefish Mountain Resort name and our "Stumpy" fish logo for anyone who wants a souvenir of their visit here. A plushie Stumpy or yeti doll is a fun gift for kids, and beer lovers might enjoy a branded koozie or pint glass!
Frequent Skier Cards
If you know someone who loves skiing or snowboarding but doesn't have a season pass, a frequent skier card might be the perfect gift. Your loved one can hit the slopes whenever they choose at a discounted daily rate!
Here's how it works: You buy the card for a small upfront cost, and it's linked to a credit card so the daily rate is automatically charged upon each day's first scan at a chairlift. It's an easy way to save compared to daily lift tickets, and your loved one will never have to wait in the ticket line on a powder day!
Hurry — frequent skier cards are available online only before the Christmas holiday!
Skiing & Riding Lessons
Finally, you can give the gift of knowledge by signing up your loved one for a skiing or snowboarding lesson!
Our Ski & Ride School offers a variety of lessons for kids, juniors and adults looking to learn the basics, shake off the rust or take their riding to the next level. Private and group lessons are available in half-day and full-day blocks, but don't delay — they book up fast!
Skis, boards, boots and helmets are available to rent. You can also save by bundling your gear rentals and lesson with our First Time Lesson Package!
