Snow Report update by Helena: Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026: 12:30 p.m. update: Conditions have softened as things have warmed up! There are still turns to be made and fun to be had this afternoon! It's not too late to get on up here via S.N.O.W Bus, car, snowmobile or horse-drawn carriage! Whatever your preferred method, find your way to the slopes this afternoon! We should be seeing some clearer skies and warmer weather over the next couple of days! Fun, springlike conditions are expected in the afternoons these coming days, so don't miss out on those! We're hoping for more snow, of course, but bluebird days are a blast too! 10 a.m. update: Firm. Fast. Slick. Those are the words I’d use to describe today’s conditions. The frontside is certainly firmer, faster and slicker than the backside. Be aware that variable conditions exist throughout the mountain, so be on the lookout for rocks and twigs that may scratch and scrape boards and skis today. Perhaps the sun will warm the snow to create softer conditions as the day progresses. Only time will tell! The sun was hard at work this morning, burning off cloud coverage we were seeing earlier. We’ve still got a cloud lingering here and there, but ultimately we’ve got clear skies across the mountain! Glance into Glacier National Park and the multitude of mountain ranges that surround our beautiful ski hill! Because today’s conditions are fast, please be in control of your speed at all times! Obey slow zones and signage across the mountain. I could write out please a million times to emphasize this, but I’ll only write it once; please do not just point those skis and send it... |
