Summer at Whitefish Mountain Resort

Since the 1950s visitors have enjoyed Scenic Lift Rides and hiking the mountain’s ski slopes in search of Huckleberries when the snow melts. Today Whitefish Mountain Resort becomes home to thrilling zip line tours, Montana’s only alpine slide, an aerial adventure park, and more than 30 miles of lift-accessed downhill and cross-country mountain bike trails. New for summer 2018 we will offer more fun for the whole family with summer tubing.

Whitefish Bike Park

You know the feeling– the state of being completely immersed in the moment. As a mountain biker, it’s a connection to the trail as if your bike is an extension of yourself. Rolling over features, plunging through berms, catching air and landing like a feather. The Whitefish Bike Park is known for its flow. A feeling that begins as you approach the mountain, elevates as you ride the lift and culminates as you descend lap after lap.

Aerial Adventure Park

We call it “the happy place” because we see so many people overjoyed with excitement and a sense of accomplishment here. We also call it “an obstacle course in the trees” because there are five courses of various ability levels, each featuring different elements for getting from tree to tree.

Zip Lines

Soar high above ski slopes, over ravines and through the trees on Montana’s longest zip line tour. Experience more than a mile of flying on six separate lines stretching as long as 1,900 ft. across and up to 300 ft. above the forest floor.

Alpine Slides

Ride a sled down dips, around banked turns, under bridges, and through a tunnel while controlling speed with a hand brake. Each lap down includes a free chairlift ride on Chair 6 back to the top of the slides. The Alpine Slides are fun for all ages, from 1 to 101.

The Danny On is our signature hiking trail that takes you from the Village to the Summit in 3.8 miles with sweeping views, fields of wildflowers, and lots of huckleberry picking!

Ride more than 25 miles of lift-accessed and cross-country mountain bike trails above the Flathead Valley. // First Impressions

First Impressions is a video series that follows pro mountain bikers around the country as they ride bike parks for their first time. Follow Braydon Bringhurst as he drops into Whitefish Mountain Resort for the first time and finds all the senders he can.
