SNOWCAT ADVENTURES Go deep to get deep.
Do you like powder and plenty of it? Then, you need to try this backcountry snowcat adventure nestled right in the snow belt of the scenic Whitefish Range, where light fluffy snow blankets our mountains quite regularly. If what you're looking for is deep powder with open glades and enough terrain to match your ability, you've found it in approximately 16 square miles of the Stillwater State Forest in the Whitefish Range. Join Great Northern Powder Guides for some backcountry snowcat fun! Expect about 4 runs before lunch, and then as many runs as you can squeeze in before dark.
  • Reservations recommended at least 3 days in advance.
  • 100% deposit required at the time of making reservations.
  • For Single Day Cat Skiing, 50% of the deposit is non-refundable on cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the reservation time.
  • For Private Group and Overnight Packages, 50% of the deposit is non-refundable on cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the reservation time.
  • Includes round-trip transportation from Whitefish Mountain Resort. Pick up at 7:30am at the bus stop near the Bierstube.
  • Lunch is provided except with the Cat Pass.
  • Safety training and avalanche transceivers provided.
  • All groups will be accompanied by two professional guides.
