SKI/RIDE SCHOOL Ski, snowboard, tele, powder, steeps... we got ya covered.
Hi everyone,

Welcome to the Whitefish Mountain Resort Ski/Ride School 2011-12 season. Whether you are a local or just in town for the weekend, our top-rated instructors will take your skiing and riding to the next level. Make it this year where you will master powder, learn that new trick in the terrain park or learn the finer points to rocker versus camber.

Please give us a call at (877)SKI-FISH or (406)862-2909 or send an email to info@skiwhitefish.com with questions or to make a reservation.

We look forward to seeing you on the hill!

-- Bill Cubbage, Snow Sports Director

Skill Levels
Skill Levels are a way for us to put you into the right lesson with the right instructors. The more honest you are about sharing your skill level with us, the more fun you'll have and the better you'll be at the end of the day.

A few highlights for this season:
  • The $72 Learn to Ski/Ride first-timer package is back by popular demand. For skiers and snowboarders, adults and children (ages 7 and up), it includes two consecutive days of instruction, lower lift access and rental equipment. It's our mission to get more people skiing and riding, and you'll be hard pressed to find a better deal out there. So... when your friends offer to teach you and you politely refuse, use this as your excuse.

  • The Magic Park is back. The tiny terrain park next to the Magic Carpet was wildly successful, so we're building it again. Just about every kid's class used it last year, and some big kid classes too! Come check it out.

  • Our competitive teams are stronger than ever. For younger skiers & riders wanting a more competitive path, both Race and Freestyle Teams offer drop-in Holiday Camps for a taste of what the next level is like. It's a great way to get some coaching and hang out with the teams. Check the Teams pages for more information.

  • Ski & Play lessons (ages 3-6) are offered daily through the Kid's Center. If you've never seen a group of 3-year-olds ripping the Magic Carpet, you haven't lived.
